quiet front speakers - Page 2 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

So I guess I'm gonna have to straight wire the front speakers (from radio directly to the speakers instead of through the BOSE amp) or get the 75x4 Soundstream amp that I just found for $70 at a local pawn shop.
Can't wait to get this fixed as well as a new MP3/WMA deck (still looking to see what I can get for around $250).
Your not going to get midbass out of 5 1/4" speakers esp. off a factory HU.

I did with the BOSE 5.25'*. No bass now -heck the vocals are hardly audible, but the highs from the Alpines are comparable with the BOSE (a bit cleaner but not nearly as loud).
