For a 600 watt amp I was running a 100 amp fuse on 8 gauge wire.

I'm running a 60 amp fuse on 4 gauge with a 1200 watt amp, but it'* such a short run of wire I don't have a problem losing power

Got the stereo into my car today , sounds good (not loud enough) , ended up using a 150 amp fuse ( came with my wiring kit)

Everything went well except for my in-dash install kit, Wouldn't fit right had to modify the kit , now it looks crappy. Gonna see if i can fix it when i get time

thanks for ur help guys
