i started installation of my system today, took 2 and 1/2 hours to install 1 speaker, the bonneville'* mounting frame was too small so i had to dremel it a bit to fit, then the screws didnt fit either so i had to drill new holes, then the bolts were too long so i had to cut them, so all that, plus running the new wire took up the whole evening and now its too dark to work, and there isnt enough room to work in my garage

So did you get a chance to change your Head Unit?? Does the pics above seem like missing the side mounting plates or anything? 2 1/2 hours?? wow.. @ least the next speaker won't take that long..

well the 2 1/2 hours also includes cutitng stripping, crimping, hooking, and running the wire, that that only took about 30 minutes, the thing thta took the longest was dremeling the mounting frame cuz i didnt wanna make it too loose so i had to keep making it a little bigger then seeing if it fit

Well.. have another issue I just realised now.. not only did those pr!cks took my stock 6x9'* ( don't know why ) but they also took the mounts to them ( I was wondering Why TF is the hole too small? So I took a look @ Tamara'* 95 SE.. and WAM !!! the lil 6x9 holders that actually lift the speaker above the metal frame isn't on my car. ( But I guess the thieves were nice enough to break into my car.. lock the door.. leave my money alone.. steal my stereo nicely without rippin the dash apart, stole the speakers AND the mounts, left the tweeters there, and put the grill back on and locked the door behind them right ???? ) So anywho.. Tamara'* dad got some of that styrafoam insulating kicking around.. going to ask him if I can steal some of it tomorrow to make my own mounts .. yet more work next to the power antenna issue.

Maybe its differant on yours but I dont have spacers.. :? Oh well... Im sure you can widdle your own.

Dude, the spacer fit into little white clips at 90 degrees to each other right? one at each end? Aftermarket speakers barely fit in them anyhow, it'* a PITA, call yourself lucky for never having to atempt that one....
