Pioneer 6x9's
i started installation of my system today, took 2 and 1/2 hours to install 1 speaker, the bonneville'* mounting frame was too small so i had to dremel it a bit to fit, then the screws didnt fit either so i had to drill new holes, then the bolts were too long so i had to cut them, so all that, plus running the new wire took up the whole evening and now its too dark to work, and there isnt enough room to work in my garage

So did you get a chance to change your Head Unit?? Does the pics above seem like missing the side mounting plates or anything? 2 1/2 hours?? wow.. @ least the next speaker won't take that long..

Dude, the spacer fit into little white clips at 90 degrees to each other right? one at each end? Aftermarket speakers barely fit in them anyhow, it'* a PITA, call yourself lucky for never having to atempt that one....
