I guess that it seems i should get new speakers since you guys say that they wont distort with my poioneer HU and that they will work better without gain. Like i said before, if the gain has a special wire going to the harness, just tell me what color it is and i can pull out my HU and look at it. Ive already pulled it out to hook up RCAs for the amp and the cutoff wire, its a small blue wire with a white line in it. Do any of you know the max watt handling for the stocks?

if you decide to go aftermarket with the speakers, i would consider am amp to run them and non of that factory crap...., they sound great with the HU power but they will be awesome with the amp. and the stockers wont handle anymore than 15-20 RMS
