I was thinking the exact same thing before i even read ur post... I would run the Alpine over the kenwood for sure. That alpine will push its rated power and then some, the kenwood might push 75% of what they say it will and the SQ of the Alpine will put the kenwood to shame and will also be more than happy to run at a 2 day load all day longgggggggggg

The Alpine amps are CEA certified, which means they will pus their rated power RMS without clipping or distortion. The Kenwood amp will not only will not push its rated power, but will likely also clip and distort, especially at a 2 ohm load.

I say keep the Alpine.
