That is the main problem.
I had an old PA 1200 on four 8ohm 12"*, it hit REALLY hard for about 2 secs, and never came on again!!!
It said on the amp "1 ohm stable" even though I was only @ 2ohms...To bridge the amp use the (-) from one channel and (+) from the other channel.
