Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

ok we are gonna try this again

I used the same grommet as you except i ran 8 gauge wire through it and heres how i did it. I tied the drawstring from a hoodie sweatshirt to the hanger then pulled the hangar almost all the way through, leaving the string on the engine side. then i tied the wire to the string and pulled the string through along with the wire. WIth the 4ga youll have ot use something a little stronger than a hoodie drawstring, cause mine almost broke. It also might help if you stab yourself a larger hole through the grommet first, with perhaps a phillips head screwdriver. Just dont stab into that crazy cable, or youll be listening to your new system in the driveway only.

I know I'm a little bit late, but you guys DO know that there'* an access easily accessible right below the brake pedal, under the carpetting? There'* a rubber cut-out in the sound deadener and it'* a spot where you can drill through the firewall, it'* not as thick there as it is in the rest of the areas. Then you just install your own gromment.
