Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

No sound coming from speakers after aftermarket stereo

I'm just going to run all new speaker wire directly to some new speakers. Will be fun if I can do it without ******* up the interior of my car. lol

before you run all the wire just hook up a speaker to the rear speaker output wires coming out of the back of the headunit, this will save a lot of time if it is a headunit or setting problem

Default Had the same problem

It was indeed the Amp not being powered. There is a plug from the back of the Factory Stereo with a single cable(rust colored) cut the connector off(save some space in case you have to put the factory back in).

Take that cable and connect it to the power cable and WAM!!! Instant sound!

I thought the damn cable was for the Steering will stereo controls!
