New Kenwood HU and repainted surround (pix)
Well, after doing my ECC mod, I thought about going most, if not all, black or dark color in the center of the dash. So I looked all over for a black HU with MP3 capabilities, and found one on Ebay...only caveat is that it was originally meant for a Hyundai, but that is livable...
The grey that I used to cover the plastic mount was some scrap 3M Safety/Traction tape that our flight simulators use on the topend, and I think it looks rather good!
And here I mocked it up to the textured dash I done up...
Comments?
