Thanks for all the advice, but I think I'm just going to find someplace else for the neon.

I'd like to find a way to see if the neon is actually draining power from the battery, or just from the cap, when the car is off.

The relay russianpolarbear had was a good idea, I might try that. But it might only trigger the neon when the antenna is up, which is only when I listen to "radio", not CD/MP3.

It would trigger when ever the amp is on...
