a lot of crutchfield'* sale prices are the regular prices on many other sites, such as when i bought my cd player from ikesound, i got it for 99 bux, it retailed for 400, a few months later i saw it on sale in crutchfield for about 200 then a while after that it was 150 in crutchfield and before it ever went on sale, they sold it for the regular retail price

Dont get the Kenwood 5 1/4'*. JBL'* are alright. The Polks & Infiniti'* are good. Another good thing with Crutchfield, after you spend a certain amount theyll give you discounts. My frienbd spent a lil over 2 grand so now he gets 20% off of his purchases.

I just installed the 2way JBL 6x9s from Crutchfield. I am very happy with them... I went with them for a few reasons. Right now they are $79. They also have a Sensativity of 93 dB. I am only driving them with my Bose crap which was designed for 1ohm components. The JBLs are 4ohm, so the power output from the amp is now compremised, but they will make it up with a better sensativity. Also the tweeters are 355deg rotable. So you can aim them to help with your front stage.

Ive decided on the following:
for head unit:
http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/*...=1&cc=01&avf=Y
for 6x9'*
http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/*...=1&cc=01&avf=Y
for 5 1/4'*
http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/*...=1&cc=01&avf=Y
I have always liked pioneer products. I couldn't find a Pioneer 5 1/4 EZ Fit so I went with the Polk, they looked good. I will probably be ordering next wed. feb 18. So if you see anything wrong with what I am ordering please let me know

I would stick with the same brand. Your sound will be better. You could get this Polk 6X9 for $20 more for better performance. Instead of the Pioneer'* 40W RMS its 100W RMS.
Heres the link comparing Pioneers 6x9'* with the Polk'* 6X9 that are $100. The only thing Pioneer beat the Polk on was the freq. But who needs a 6x9 that goes down to 28 Hz.
