Well i finally got my whole system up and running, sorry no pics i dont have a digital camera yet. my system contains:
Alpine CDA-9813
2x Rockford Fosgate 'Power' 5 1/4 (can't remember model number)
2x Rockford Fosgate 'Punch' 6x9 (also dunno #)
2x Rockford Fosgate 'Punch' P2 10"
Kenwood 4ch 640watt amp
Power Acoustic 2ch 980watt amp
Q-logic sealed/ported box
run with Monster cable and RCA'*
at the moment i have the box sealed and there is a big difference from ported, i have ported subs of similar power in my house, as everyone else has already stated ported has a deeper fuller sound and sealed has a clearer harder hit but i didnt realze just how big the difference was, i would describe it as, a ported sub you feel the bass in the air, a sealed sub u feel it in objects, i my seat became a massage chair when i cranked it up,

how have other people here dealth with the subs moving? i assumed they wud be heavy enough to not movie but its the carpet that moves under it, righ tnow i moved the cargo net to hold it in place
1 of 2 options
easiest..cut a 2x4 to the right length, and put it between the box and the back of the trunk
make the box exactly 36" wide, so whe you fit it in, it fits SUPER tight between the strut towers, mine doesnt move an inch... with no supports

Cool you got it hooked up now, deffinitly should mount that box, you can take some little 90 degree mounting stips, one into the box and one into the side/bottom.
There'* a considerable difference between ported and sealed isn't there.

firedevil, ur design is nice but i actually use my trunk for storage, and taylor mounting strips would help, because it sisnt the box thats moves its the carpeting underneath it, but my cargo net strategy should hold it and provide a little extra protection since the net kinda adds over the girll
