before....



HU = Pioneer Premier DEH-P860MP


the old install, dash removed...


hu removed, over 12" in mounting depth with that tab gone


plastic tab removed by hack saw blade


abs plastic trim


aluminum support trim


test fit of support trim


hu installed w/o dash


done



i dont need no LEDs and supercharger emblems

thank guys

you wouldnt believe what a PITA that support trim was. wasnt so bad cutting it out, but the DIN opening was.. ugh....

ya i have a 1 DIN RF headunit and a 1/2 DIN peramp control in my car. It fits really well in the car, fills the area up very nice

It was a really tight fit getting my Alpine CDA-9833 to fit in my dash without using the extension.

havent seen any besides that guy making the trim with the LED lighting and bonneville emblem on it

besides, those kits arent exactly cheap, this cost me 3 bucks

also, i feel a sense of accomplishment doing this. do you feel the same by typing in your CC#?
