so ive got an 02 ssei with the monsoon set up, and im no too impressed. i think if i could at least upgrade the amp and rear 6x9'*, it would be a hell of a lot better. does anyone know if its possilble to replace the factory amp with an after market, or is the wiring all set up for just that one alone?

Also the Kia/Hyundai-Optima/Sonata Infinity sound system sounds excellent. My dad had it in his '02 Optima SE V6 and loved it. Very crisp, clear and had great bass.

I think the Monsoon is a ok system, I think my old 8 speaker in my bonne sounds excellent.

My mom'* sentra has the upgraded RF sound package with subwoofer and it sounds decent. But that'* off topic. I have herd the monsoon and was not impressed.

idk i like my bose system but the again your headunit makes a big difference

85% of factory sound systems sound like crap 10% sound decent (lexus Naklamichi, SOME Bose systems, and SOME Infinity systems) The only ones that i would consider GOOD are the Mark Levinson systems.. If your anything of an audiophile, OEM equipment just doesnt cut it AT ALL

well i have the Monsoon in my 03, Coming from a complete RF setup in my 93 (no stock audio left in the car) and thought it was pretty good....
