Interesting! I did find it on Crutchfield for $70. Though I don't see my car listed in the compatible vehicles list. Bummer.
Thanks for the info, though!

But for this to work the head unit has to be remote control capable. It takes the commands for the head unit and saves them. you can find one at crutchfield for like $70.00 last time i checked. Im not quite sure how to install it thought. hope that helped
I can't say enough bad crap about them, and to qualify this, I have 2 college degrees in Electronics.

I, too, thought my unit was bad, until I happened to notice that it only did not work when the sunroof was open and sun was on the radio.
As the new guy in the neighborhood you'll forgive my
lack of Bonnie experience..... But I'm an audio guy....
On my 2k with delco the rear drivers are 8ohm
Most (all) modern replacements are rated at 4ohm
This will over drive the head unit... and eventually terminate it.
I'd suggest an aftermarket amp to drive any modern 6x9'*
as opposed to straight wiring to the stock HU.
You shouldnt have any trouble until a driver fails then the
HU would only have a 4ohm load ... though most modern
amps will tolerate 4ohm and many are stable to 2ohm but I'm
not in the know with reguard to factory specs....
Just a head'* up when looking at replacement 6x9 drivers
