is there a way to keep my cars steering wheel controls with a aftermarket deck i dont know what model of deck just i want to know if i can keep the the buttons working thats all Thanks

some after market decks allow you to still use the steering wheel controls, jvc kd-avx1 and kd-avx2 I know do for sure

see that the prob i dont have a idea yet on what deck i want and right now i have no buget for one so i have to wait and see

you need a headunit with a remote....

after you have that, you can use your steering wheel controlls

so what you are telling me is a need a HU that has a remote? what are some good name brand decks that do have remotes and will work with this kinda system

The remote is necessary because you put the PAC SWI-x on your buttons, and it sends remote signals to the head unit. You have to teach the PAC SWI-x the remote signals.
