installing subs and amp - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

yes you can, you need a speaker level line out converter. It basically splices in to an existing speaker wire and converts the high power to a lower, suitable level for your amp. It'* really easy to install and they work quite well. You'll just have to run the amp remote wire from the fuse box. Make sure it'* a component that runs off the ignition and isn't on constant power or the amp will obviously never turn off. If you need any more info just ask. http://www.crutchfield.com/*-4wZn8eR...onverters.html
