Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

I see 97NA Bonneville beat me to the title

It'* still a fosgate, yes it'* good, but if you're buying it used, you can get some good stuff used, you can also see what some people are selling here....

8 tweeters will cause a lot of sound field crossing, and ruin imaging. Screw tweeters in the rear, they do the same. But that'* my SQ side.....

I agree, Too many tweeters. Is there some reasoning to your madness?
The older RF amps are ok, My buddy bought one for 50 knowing that it was blown. Me sent it to RF and they fixed it no charge.

You actually pull more current overall. You have to "fill" the cap first, and then all the normal drains in the system are still run thru it. They are just spread out, and flatter, not as peaky. IMO it'* a bandaid for an improper electrical system. If you got a new alt, and it put out it'* rating, the cap will only make your headlights stay 100% @ idle.
