Personnally that is what i would do and you dont risk tearing up anything and they can do it quicker.

so i went to best buy last night to have them install the door speakers.... they sold me 4x6'* at first.... wrong size... then 4s............. wrong size....................5.25!!!!!!! right size.....

so when i have back 2 hours later it was set up and good... plus he found me open box rockford punches..... so i saved 40 and that payedfor installation.

it sounds really nice but i need a deck to maximize the enjoyment...

son of a biotch....

i stopped at a friends house and waited till he got home. seven nation army came on so i thought "PRIME TIME TO BUMP with my new speakers"

boy it sounded nice... so i wanted to see how the back was doing and i turned around and it was only on one side...maybe balance was off? no....

i took the cover off and realized the driver side rear speaker was playing but SUPER faint bass only...

i saw that the little speaker/tweeter? above the 6x9 was clipped... so i thought mayeb that was the proiblem.

after hooking it back up it sounded scratchy and twangy so i unclipped it because the 6x9 still didnt work... my other tweeter ont he other side is clipped too (anyone else clip thiers for some reason?)

i messedw itht he wiring in the back and nothing happened... so i the stock speaker back in and it didnt work..

so the question is is my wiring FUTZED up or did u blow the speaker or i dunno? i THINK it worked before but i never sat int he back so i dunno...
