Rick, do you have mini lamps or LEDs?

Also, you will just have to do is what I did...which is making it so the entire radio does not go into the mount all the way. I cut some plastic strips and put them inside the mount so that when you slide the radio in it, it is pushed out forward a little bit. That should solve all your problems.

Pete it has mini lamps .. stock that came with the mount.
i cant see the pics here at work but i did that ..
one pic shows the entire thing put together with everything on.. the radio faceplate is really tight when the deck is moved forward in the mount to allow removable face to snap on.
even the slight thickness of the aluminum humount faceplate is too much .. again the detachable radio faceplate will snap on.. but way too tight...

That'* nice of him if he doesn't charge. I was close to having him make me a new one. I remember his communication was pretty good and polite the whole way through until I figured it out.

Hmm,
My install was a bit tricky too.
I had to cut the white portion of the bracket a bit wider using a utility knife, then the metal bracket finally slid in. I then bolted the black plate on, and voila.

There is a little gap at the top of the radio, but over all it'* cool as the red light shines down on top of the radio.

The little lights are a pain if a bunch are burnt out. LED is the way to go!

Good luck, Rick.
Post some finished / installed pics please.
