Default Help Deciding Speakers and amp..

I cant decide on what speakers and amp I should get for my car. So i decided to come on here and ask for some help.. Please give honest opinions and suggestions.. Thanks Nick

Now to what I was thinking on buying...

Infinity KAPPA PERFECT6.1 - Infinity Kappa Perfect Series 6-1/2" Component System
Power Handling, RMS: 100 Watts

Power Handling, Peak: 400 Watts

Sensitivity: 90dB

Impedance: 4 Ohms

Crossover Frequency(ies): 3.5kHz, 24dB/oct

Mounting Depth: 2-3/4" Perfect Mid-woofer, 1" Perfect tweeter

2nd Option would be

Polk Audio MMC6500 - Polk Audio 6.5" Component Speaker System
Frequency response: 43-25,000 Hz

Power range: 10-125 watts RMS

Peak power handling: 250 watts

Sensitivity: 90 dB

6-1/2" lacquered carbon fiber woofer with rubber surround

1" liquid-cooled silk/polymer composite dome tweeter

surface- and flush-mount cups included

suitable for marine use

cast aluminum basket

outboard 2-way crossover

ABS grille based on MOMO rim design

top-mount depth: 2-1/2" (2-11/16" with magnet boot)

Which of the 2 would you rather have? or anyone else got any other suggestions....

Now for the amp.. I am clue less on which one to get.. Theres too many out there for me to pick from lol... what would be the best amp to power the speakers i mentioned above?
Thanks Nick

Id say infinity, and get infiniti amp the matches that setup, check crutchfield or ask at reputable system dealer. Always better when everything is same brand, they make things so they are "tuned" for eachother.

I'm partial to Kicker myself. They rate their amps at RMS, not max.

Kappas are a bit overkill in my opinion. I run the Reference and those blow away anything else I have heard for the price.

Ditto on the Kappa - I love mine even with my stock head unit. I don't have the Kappa Perfect, however - just the regular Kappa'*. You may need to add power for the Perfects, but I could be wrong. I understand Polk is supposed to be good, but I don't have any personal experience with them.
