headunit? - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Default headunit?

I have a question real quick. Would you think a blue head unit will look weird in my bonny since everything else that lights up is red? Thanks

Mine'* multi-colored, but mostly blue. I don't think it looks too bad. Any head unit that isn't factory is probably going to look a little out place, no matter the color...

My Pioneer is blue, and I do notice it, it lacks the "factory" look. I think Sony comes closest with red displays, but I prefer the Pioneer stereos. I got used to it quickly, though, so it doesn't bother me any more.

I myself like the alpines which also have to blue display and buttons, it doesn't bother me, there companys out there that have changable color displays as well.

I agree completely. I guess I am a function over form kind of guy. My wife hates it if the lights don't match, I kind of like it personally. I
