Want to share an upgrade I did to my 2002 F350 over the weekend. The 99-04 have a radio opening that us a tad smaller than a double din. I am amazed how much I like this. It looks weird, but works really well. Just awkward for us that believe a radio has to be flush mounted. With the Schosche wiring kit for under $10, can install without cutting or tapping a single wire. And since the radio harness has a plug, one can make the harness at the kitchen table (just solder or crimp). One of the best upgrades I ever did. Now I have android auto , full navigation, bluetooth audio, etc. And even a USB charger. I was listening to a radio station from New Zealand when I went for a test drive. And the AM reception is fantastic, much better than the OEM radio.
The Jensen CAR 1000 sells for about $360 on Crutchfield, Amazon, etc. What I didn't know, is Jensen sold its name to a South Korean manufacturer named Dual Electronics Corp, which is owned by Namsung a South Korean multinational company headquartered in Seoul. This is important as Dual sells the same exact head unit as Jensen, but sells for $260 on Amazon under part number DMCPA11BT.

Oh wow, looks like you strapped an I Pad on there, that is HUGE, lol
I like it though, no way you are getting lost, or having trouble finding something to listen to now.
Nice work on the install.
Don't park that thing here in Tucson unattended LOL.
Lol, did not know people still stole stereos as everything is so OEM custom today. When I was a teenager car stereos were hot commodities.... didn't think so today but guess I am wrong... I do hear OEM catalytic convertors are common targets for thiefs...

Thanks William, really recommend this system for those with older vehicles and have the space for the screen without interfering with vents, switches, etc. This exceeded every expectation . Next closet aftermarket I could compare to was a Kenwood at over $1,000
I want to replace mine before too long, but I have to wire in the stuff to retain steering wheel controls, and the onstarr crap, even though I do not use it,
I also want to add a back up camera.. Every time I get to looking at parts something else gives me issues, lol

This head unit does have the backup camera input, and will also handle rthe steering wheel controls with a third party box (inexpensive). No idea how the onstar plays with this.
