Default Head unit........

I've been looking at a kenwood 979 or 879.
Is there another HU that has the red illumination and if so which ones and what are the opinions of kenwood.
A friend of mine says it is one of the best HU made!

OPINIONS?!?!?!?!?!?!

Some Alpine units have red lightning witchable form blue usually, I had a Alpine with it before and Red matched great, they call it Amber.

Also some Clarion units have the multi color funtion, can change the illumintion from 200+ colors, betting theres a red or 2 in there.

humm, I disagree, not much of a Sony fan at all for car audio, there not a contender at all for competition, they really don't make anything for the high end products, and have heard many Sony amps bite the dust.

Sony in my house, different story, different topic.
