Default Have aftermarkey HU installed and it doesnt sound the same

like the title of the thread says. It just doesnt have the same ammount of bass as it did with the factory HU. Im sure i hooked everything up right. IDK. I hvave the pioneer deh 3000 HU. Ive messed with the settings and i cant get it to sound like when i had my factory. Any ideas?

well the thing is, that most headunits dont run the same wattage as stock systems, for example, my kenwood deck ran about 16 rms to each speaker, and my jensen runs about 30 rms to each speaker. So your problem is most likely that there arent enough watts going to each speaker, unless your talkin like static and other things like that then it could have been something you didnt in the installation that like clipped a wire for the speakers or something. hopefully that helped a little

yeah your right. Now im gonna have to get some components....stock speakers own me!!!! Any suggestions on 6x9 under 100 bucks

Uhm, well i know kenwood ones run for about 80 bucks, and pioneer runs for about the same. my suggestion is go to either onlinecarstereo.com or ikesound.com because they are wholesale sites and they have tons of 6x9 for cheap. And itll give you some choice rather than me throwin out one or two names that you might not be satified with

if you want it louder i would suggest some tweeters too
