Default Good brandnames?

What are some good brandnames for some speakers, I'm getting a pair of 5.25s for my birthday, and was wondering about a good brand for them. Thanks.

I like the sound of Infinity Kappa'*, too. Make sure to let us know what you get.

Diamond Audio, Focal, Adire.

Smaller higher quality brands make the best stuff in carfi. The lowest range (D3) by diamond would blow away damn near anything mass marketed.

What sorta music do you like? How do you like it to sound? What'* important to you? Simple things like the tweeter material are some of the most important things in speakers, not the brand name.

I just want my speakers to be able to withstand some good mids and highs cause I have subs for the lows. I would like to be able to turn the volume up.... a lot. I listen to mostly rock with a mix of some rap.

Well I just purchased these online. I think that they should work just fine. Seemed to be a good deal too.
