i wouldnt put them outside at all, you got all kinds of salt, vibration, you could run over something that skins the insulation and thats it. you have a big arc welder under your car where all the gas lines and everything go

considering i havent had to buy gas in over 2 weeks, i highly doubt anything will happen in the mean time. i drive my car maybe 2 miles every day.


i sure as hell aint climbing under there in the 6" of snow and ice. lol.

I would pull the fuse until you have a chance to re-route the wire.

You could always just poke a hole in the lower firewall and put a gromet around it to protect the wire.
