is that on a sealed box or ported? is there a difference?

I had my box custom made to fire through the door in the back seat. It is long and skinny so it hugs the back seat.

Nope, box was done by a friend of mine. It is a lot more intricate than it looks. Ported and sized to the exact specs of my sub, tuned to 35 hz.

I'd never be able to get my money back out of it if I tried to sell it. It'* going to get moved over into the new car eventually unless by some miracle the SSEi gets fixed.

Is your box ported into the trunk with the sub firing forward? How does that sound? It seems like your trunk is pretty well sealed off with all those panels so I'm curious if you lose output because of that.

It'* ported on the left side right behind the battery. The box is completely sealed off from the trunk. Makes for no trunk rattle and sounds great. I've never had anyone complain about it being too quiet : P

If for some reason it sounds like Hell let me know. I might buy it from you.
