Default Custom Mounts

I was searching Alpine'* website when I fell in love with this reciever:
http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/product...model=IVA-W200

I looked on eBay, and I can get one of those for around 750, which I can get in a few months (billz to pay, haha). First thing I want to know: Has anyone tried fabricating a mount for a Double-Din cd player? I know the 92-99 is a 1 1/2 din, but it has a ton of room under it. If this hasn't been done, do you think it'* possible?
