Default Curious for interested folks..if I were to sell AMPS.

Hey guys, Not sure if this is right place for this, but I did not want to post this as BEING for sale...yet.

I have an opertunity to upgrade my amp system to a Rockford Power T20001bd Mono Amp. Its a used amp, but I know its current owner and think its a good deal.

Anyway, I am wanting to sell my current amps with the rack.

So I am curious, is asking $400 + shipping too much for this?

It is 2 RF-301M (Mono) amplifiers. Both in perfect working condition. They sell for about $150 each. The rack was custom made for the trunk and that set me back $200. This equipment is one year old.

So my question is..$400 sound like a fair deal for this? Also, would there be any interest from any of you?.........just curious.

Thank you for your input guys.

Well, unfortunately, I wont be able to get them unless I can sell this.

I have 2 - 12" RF P3D212

12" P3'* - 2 Ohm capable. Dual Voice Coil
500 watts RMS
1000 watts Peak.

I was thinking I could run the amp in 2 ohm load and get 750 watts to each 12" safely. Half way between the RMS and Peak.

But need to offload these first, if I am asking a feasible price for them.

you will probably get more selling the amps seperately on ebay and then trying to sell the rack.

You issue will be that most people putting together a system would either just screw the amp to the box or build their own rack.

    Default change of plans

Well, there has been a change of plans. The t20001bd will not work in my situation. I thought I had 2 Ohm speakers, but they are actually 4 Ohm speakers wired in series to except 2 ohm.

So I only have two options for the amp I want. And neither will work.

So, thanks for the input guys on the amps I thought I was going to sell, but looks like I wont, for now.
