iv been playing with LEDs in cars for a while now, and iv Put LEDs in every put side light on my car.
Those LEDs you got are light the same ones you buy at Walmart, PepBoys and other auto part stores, They Suck!
The ones on the site i linked at only $2-3 each and are WAY! better then those you got.
almost every Auto parts store and even Walmart over charges for LEDs by Allot!

You got to know something about Auto LED lighting first
The 194 bulb that he got and you buy is just just a LED and thats it, that other parts in the base. Diodes and resistors and stuff.
this is a quote from the site i linked.
The 2 bulb types above are polarized so if you plug them in and they do not work, turn them around. These next 2 bulbs are non-polarized so they will work in polarity reversing marker light applications

o0o0o... One has external diodes to protect it from reverse voltage inside the bulb, The other inverse parallel circuitry. Okay that makes more sense. There'* more inside that bulb assembly than just the LED.

so seriously you think a piaa led light made for a side marker is the problem. why would they make * bulb that doesn't work with a car if that is what there trying to do .... if your correct please guide me to a bulb that is as bright as that one i got now .. and there only 2 - 3 dollar apiece i must be getting rip off them huh?

yes
its not so simple
thats what im trying to explain here
All my LEDs on my car work 100%.
I bet if you reverse the way you have them plugged in they may not work in day but will work at night

You guys need to specify photons or electrons when talking polarization.
Particularly when talking about a device that uses electrons to produce photons. The term polarization means two totally different things at the same time in this application.

the WLED-WHP listed in that link bandit gave you seems to be pretty close to what you have in output.
Kathy, Of course we're talking current source voltage and electron polarization

you bought a 194 LED Bulb that is polarized.
the only reason why you paid so much (and i hate to say it) its cuz of what name is on the box.
all my LEDs in my car i got from that site i linked and from one other, witch ill post if you want.
To replace ALL of my bulbs on the out side of my car i spent like $220,
and the 194'* i got are from that site.
the rest i got from another site.
i got 1157 & 1156 bulbs for the front center turn/parking lights and for the rear turns and brack/parking lights.
My front ones are special though they are dual color switch back ones
