my cd player in my 2001 ssei was playing fine then started to play once in a while now all i get is a check disk error any idea what i can do to fix this. tried running a lens cleaner disc through it but it wont read the cd long enough for that to work any ideas would be great.

Some people who have gotten this error have gone far enough to take apart their CD player and manually clean the lens, I dont know if you are up to this or not. I belive there are 7 screws you have to remove to take apart the HU, if you are talking stock.
