Box thread - Page 2 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Most of their stuff is underseat so you can still carry passengers just fine.

you put that in there you dont have any room for the normal stuff you carry in the car. thats why i got my yukon, you should at least get the crew cab at least those have a little room behind the seat.

My crew cab will have a box for a single 10" on one side, with the amp mounted on the wall behind it. That way all of the stuff that'* back there now can go under/behind the other side.

Since you have the stuff picked out you should just have the box built for you. It'll be cheaper that way.

I know every box is built to order. What I meant though is if you buy shallow-mount subs than you can have a box built that is a lot smaller since they require less air. This requires less materials so therefore makes it cheaper.

That'* how I'm doing it to save a lot of room.
