Default what is the box under dash for?

I came accross a small silver box under the drivers side of the dash. It'* behind the fuses on top of the black kick panel. Just wondering what it'* for, abs computer or something?

It might be a module for a remote car starter...Do you have a remote car starter?

Yes, the car does have a remote car starter. Seems kinda big for that but that could very well be it.

That'* where most installers mount it for easier access to the fuse box & main wiring harness connections through the firewall.

you might be describing the computer...


or it could be a remote keyless entry module.

The PCM is located by the passenger side kick panel....The Remote Keyless Entry System Module is on the RH side of the PCM bracket.
