just for your information... but i use mine about 2% of the time.... just a habit to push buttons on the radio....

i always use the stearing wheel buttons. when ever i drive someone elses car and i wanta change the music or turn it up or down i start hitting the wheel like the buttons are there. my wife thinks its funny as h3ll. but ive noticed her doing it too after she drives my car.

Relinquish your Pac SWI .. Geez man.. steering wheel controls or nothing!

Optimus.. see my info above.. I've done a 95 and 97.. the 97 will be identical to yours. Get the factory radio connector.. and it'* probably pin 13-15 a green wire.

OK finally got mine installed, programmed, and hidden. Follow the instructions for: Pontiac (all with airbag, w/o heater controls, 21 pin connector), as stated by a kind fellow already, youll be looking for pin 13 a light green wire. Use the interface'* green wire to connect to the light green pin 13. Interface vers. 1, do not clip brown OR purple jumpers, manufacturer reccomends using a fresh chassis ground instead of sharing the radio harness ground.

Anyhow, its all good. Nice to have my conrols back!
