do what i dod pull down the arm rest and cut a 4'' hole all the way thru to the trunk and put a $5 air port tube for better bass response.. you will need a grinder to cut thru the metal behind the back seat.. it sounds a million times better especially when i pull the arm rest down and let the air comne into the car from the trunk..

Ok, my plan is to put 2 holes back by the back speakers, i have 2 good speaker tubes to put in the holes, It will look nice,
But.... is it safe to do that? put two 4in holes in that metal frame?
i did it b4 in a doge, but just 1 tube, and it worked good, but looked shity because i had no good speaker tubes to use

Hey I have a 12 inch ported box with a pioneer 12 and 500RMS im puttin in to my 92 SSE. Which way and location i should put it in the trunk to get the most base response. I had it in my 93 Z24 with the seats down and it hit 130Db so i want to try to get the most out of it in my SSE.

aim the subs towards the rear bumper. In reality you can aim them either way but the vast majority prefer the output and SQ of the subs facing the rear of the car

Hey Bruce, Just start a new topic. The way most people found is to point them at the rear bumper. The reflection of the bass off of the back of the car resonating forward works pretty well. There are also some other tips and tricks like if you want more bass like removing the 6x9s. The moderators will lock this anyways so just start a new topic.
