don't feel bad man, just wait till the Sony comments come!!!!

That headunit should serve you fine. Aiwa probably uses close to the same junk in stock units. :?

Im sure if u take care of it it will be fine. just be sure to get a warranty with it. Most low end head units and stereo equipment in general are all about the same thing with a different brand name on it.

Doesn't look too shabby, my only recommendation is to not go with Sony.. also, a good speaker for your 6x9'* (if you're not looking for bass) would be Infinity. They have awesome midrange and highs. They have them at Circuit City if you want to give them a listen.

-Aiwa head unit w/rear RCA pre-out
-Sony Xplod XM-745 800w amp (4 channel)
-Sony Xplod xs-w4621 4x6s 120w
-4-Gauge 1,000 watt amplifier install kit
-2 Rockford Fosgate 12" Punch Z woofers (might get different ones)
-2 bass blockers for front speakers

Does anyone forsee any problems with this setup? Thanks in advance for your help!
I just need to figure out where to run the power wire through the firewall so I can power my amp. :( The amp will also power the 6x9s whenever i get a good pair.
i prefer a different amp then dat 800w sony, sony is terrible wit dat damn overheating issue

I have heard that sony is actually improving thier amps. The newer ones are still mediocre but much better than what they had a few years ago. Like i said u will probly be fine as long as u get the waranty
