Default angel eye question

all of the angel eye driving/fog light ive seen have a kill so when the light goes on the angel eye turns off, i assumed this was some kind of safety measure wo when my friend got his ricing headlights witht he angel eyes i warned him to hook the angel eyes up to a switch so he can turn em off when the headlights are on, he didnt listen, and as you know the low beams are used much more than the high, and his low beam angel eyes are broken, so was i right thatthey shudnt be run while the light is for heat or whatever reason?

the Hellas are able to run with ring only, driving light and ring, or driving light only

yah the pilot ones work with the lights on but its really pointless because you will not see them. i wish that they were brighter sometimes.
