LEDs rarely go out by themselves. HOWEVER it is possible that it has a bad resistor. Usually, its a 100 ohm value, and *sometimes* one for each LED, or one for a group of them. OR you have the wires reversed...LED'* WONT light if wired backwards.

yah they wont work wired backwards because they are a light emitting diode, but i would lean more twards the resistor or led since i dont think it would be reversed since they worked before.

Well looks like I won't be taking them apart.....

I went to the place I ordered them from..... I purchased them on ... drum roll please.... Nov 17th 2003. So it'* 1 week shy of the warranty.... sweet.

They just ordered me a new set.... they'll be in mid next week, then I just have to swap em.

I'll take a closer look at the AEs when I take them out to see exactly how they work, and how one would fix em.... it shouldn't be too hard... except if the stuff is "incased" in plastic or glass.
