Default Amp help

Ok i have a 1000 watt soundstorm s1002 that i am trying to hook up to my new 600 RMS 12" subs. Everytime i hook up the amp all it does is make a crackling sound for a second and just moves the woofer in and out slowly but not producing any sound.Everything is hooked up right ive gone over the wireing and it works fine with my other 500 watt amp.

have you checked the in-line fuse on the positive line? or the fuses on the amp? possibly a bad ground, what I do when I make a ground is drill the hole for the screw then sand the paint down to clean metal where the ring terminal will touch the car

I have a very solid ground ive never had a problem with it, and the whole wiring system works fine with my other amps just not this soundstorm.
