Default adding factoryish remote start

hey guys i want to add remote start to my 97sabre i dont care what system i use on the car like brandname wise. But is it possible to use a GM factory remote start remote from lets say a new g6 some some thing along those lines with the aftermarket system i love when things look factory.

Thanks Madison Zanette

I doubt it. A lot of the newer cars use specific wiring and coding. For instance 00+ bonnie'* have the databus system between Onstar, stereo, etc..

Range and features would also be considerably less than an aftermarket one. Most shops also warranty their labor.

I have an AstroStart 903u It was a pretty straight forward installation in my Regal. It has been 100% reliable and has great range on the remote. You can also wire it up to do remote power trunk and door lock functions.
