Default 99 ssei with bose sound

i looked around here and might be blind.....but i didn't find anything about adding a sub or changing the head unit with the Bose system....
my concern is the anti theft, and steering wheel controls can you add a sub to this unit or should i swap it all out and put in my Memphis EQ speakers and Kenwood amps?

also wondering if there is a brand of head unit that is more compatible with the techno stuff on these cars (Ahhhh the days of my basic S15 )
thanks in advance for the help
yes pics coming soon

You could basically go with a double din head unit and depending on what you want to spend the possibilities are endless.

As for retaining the factory steering wheel controls use

if you are going to change the headunit i wold suggest swapping out all of the components while you were at it.

I just did all of mine and my Nav Deck should be in today (not holding breath)
