priorities? Winter is crazy out here. I do not trust cooper trendsetters with 30k on them to help me survive. Net to mention, they are fun as hell. Last year our street dept. spread dirt all over the road..................YES. DIRT. I had to go up there and dump salt in there for them. Apparently cutting bags open is a rough task. It was a large load of dirt. not sand. not to mention. They can't run their blade. Semi Traffic up the ARSS. Like ya can't believe. BAKKEN OIL. yah. Road is ice right away. and these fools.....not even sure how they got a CDL some of em. Holy christ. Yes. studded tires are a must on the deadliest road in the state. I drive on that road a lot.....60 miles, no shoulder. Morons passing in a no passing zone. Don't know how to pass. Oh the list goes on and on. I like me tires. Never ran them till I got out here, last winter was alright, but the tread is wearing down lots more on the all seasons. Thats besides the point! I can't pass these ****** with a dremel! Back to stereos...So you are telling me that all these aftermarket folks can't just make my life simple? Why, why must this be so hard? Single din works out alright for ya though? maybe I do want a wicked flip up screen then.....OOOH I am checkin on that!

if you get a single din flip screen just make sure you have the clearance on your dash pad... mine hangs over too far so i cant get one. as for the single din fitting, i think you'll be fine. i have a friend with a 97 lesabre and his trim ring fit. what it is with my car, is when you get the kit theres 2 ways of mounting the stereo. recessed or non recessed. they do this because on alot of cars (like the buicks) the actual dash covers the edges. but my dash without trimming wouldnt allow the stereo to go back that extra 1/4 inch or so, so i could use the trim ring.
