Billboost, Does your stereo have the red strip in the middle of the clock and the lighter part to the top and bottom of the display... I think that stereo was used in 94-95... I think if the display is full red than you have a 97-99,00 stereo....
Not sure about the colors..it'* sitting on a pinball. Date manf. 05/95 and it played them bad boys whenever the mechanism would take them and get them to the laser

Stereo shop buddy said he could send out at cost fo 80 and get fixed. I got kenwoods kdc-mp828 instead.
Yeah I have heard that some would and others wouldn't... Not sure what it is...

A friend installed a Jensen stereo in his car some time ago... It would paly all of the Burned CD'd but I think depending on burn speed it would skip at times over bumps, where a regular CD wouldn't.. I never had any of those issues with my 2000 GA stereo..
For some reason I've been listening to my buddy Haro on things like this CD player. It was skippin over every little pebble and I figured they didn't have it together in 95 quite as good as the current stuff. Plus I considered a cd changer...but why if I can read mp3 and wma? Wanna know why...cause my HU needs a seperate aux input for the dual zone to work. Hmmm can you say one cd playing on front speaks and another on the rears....hehehehe cool stuff

no. The 2000+ stereos are double din, the previous gen bonneville was 1/2. Also, the 00+ uses dock and lock, no wire harness. also, these radios need a data signal sent by the PCM to turn on. There isn't an ignition on/constant hot wire for these radios. Only a constant hot. They use a data signal to turn on. Much like everything else on the 00+ Bonnevilles. Everything has integration modules to control everything to minimize wiring.
