Default '93 CD player issues

I have a question on this topic. My '93 will load a CD and then the error light will come on and it will eject the CD. Once it played the CD and that was it. I have tried multiple CD'* and wondered if this is a common problem? If I need to replace the player. Where is the cheapest/best place to pick up an oem unit?

I'd say go aftermarket, those early Delco CD units were never known for reliability. A girlfriend of mine has a '92 Grand Am with the CD in it too and it hasn't worked right for years. Just go to bestbuy or the like and get yourself a nice $150 dollar deck, and they'll install it free (usually). You'll be all set, and it'll sound better than any factory CD.

I agree..

While never worrying about anything if the unit is stock... aftermarket has tons of benefits over that year unit.

I picked mine up on ebay for a killer price from a reputable seller.
