Head Unit having trouble eating CD'*
My Clarion DXZ 835MP all of a sudden is having problems eating CD'*. I can insert them just fine, it eats it about 98% of the way, and i can hear it struggleing to get the last few milimeters. After a few seconds it gives up and spits it back up. My solution for now its using another CD to shove it in the last 2%, which does work.
Any suggestions? just live with it?

I dont think so, ive had it for a few years, bought it off ebay too, plus clarion would prob void the warranty since it wasnt installed by "licensed professional" :?
Using another cd to push it in the last few millimeters seems to be working ok, for now ill live with the condition.

That is sad, it would probably be hard to fix by yourself, I had a clarion dxz845mc and they are great players. It wouldn't hurt to email them and ask about it. Sometimes they will help you out more than you would think. You may luck out and they could fix it for you, or maybe repair the unit for a set price. Might as well just shoot them an email and see.
