5.25" recommendations - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Lotsa choices, many good ones, i found a neat site. Good prices if you're on a tight budget.

I think Crutchfield is closing out a pair of Polk 5.25" speakers at $50 for the pair....I'd jump on that. Polk is good stuff.

Ive always been happy with Polk. Buit if you are having mounting depth problems you could always add spacers to help out with that. With those you could also go bigger in size.

Correction....the Polks at Crutchfield are $59.99, that includes $30 off the regular price.....not a bad deal at all if you can swing it. They include speaker wiring adapters for free too.
