Default 2015 GMC Canyon SLT touch screen replace?

My touch screen has gone berserk!! Seems to have a mind of its own. I'd rather not lose the use of my USB ports, back-up camera. I guess I can go back to a portable GPS if I have to. Suggestions, please? Buy a new touch screen? Are the new ones any more reliable? Buy a new radio? What brand?
Thanks!!

It won't stay on the screen I've chosen. I want to display Trip 1 down in the instrument cluster and it always switches to the station being played. Or on the touch screen it switches to a station list instead of the screen showing the station and song info. I'm told it'* a common problem throughout the GM line of vehicles. Bummer!!

Is there a reset procedure listed in the OM?

You cold also try removing the 4 screws around the glove box (T-10) and two more screws underneath. Remove the glove box.
You will have to look up in there closely for a series of connectors.
It starts with a single blue wire, then a grey connector and then the blue connector
With ignition off, now take the blue connector and disconnect it. Now Turn ignition ON & the screen should now be completely dark/ off.
With now ignition off....Re-connect the blue connector, start the vehicle and see if that re-sets it.

Thanks, I'll try this. I'm starting to price aftermarket radios, but I'd have to buy a license plate mounted rear camera. Bummer!
