Default 2001 radio into a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville ?

Quick question...as most of you know already there is no easy way to get an ipod jack into a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville radio other then replacing the radio with an aftermarket one or doing some major work on the existing radio...work that i'm not capable of!! The radio in my 2002 Bonneville has a CD player but no casette deck so I can't even get a ipod adapter with the casette attachment to player my ipod!! So here my question...can i replace the radio I have with one from a 2001 Bonneville which has a casette player? Is it an easy switch? Thanks for the help!

Alot of our GearHead Staff stay mainly in their Sections of knowledge and miss things placed in Intro/Lounge/General chat, Thanks again for joining the Forum. V
