is 2000 stereo same size as 92-99 stereo?

i saw 2 spacer kits at walmart there was one that said 92 and up which i liked but it said 00-02 bonneville and there was one i didnt like but it specifically said it was for my car, there any chance the other one would work anyway?

I don't think they are the same dimensions.

im not tlaking baout the harness, i mean just the size of the face

The size may actually be the same. Aren't they 1.5 DIN units? The mounting brackets may be completely different, though.

Since pontiac took the time to change the mounts between the floor shift and column shift 93'*, I'll bet bet they took the time the change the mounts on the 00+

When I got an Alpine in my 01 right away, there were no +00 mounting kits, used a VW Jetta kit to work looks nice and you can't tell, you can see it on pages 2-3 http://www.cardomain.com/id/taylordssei
